This post is to support an MRC MICA award to Prof Gavin Woodhall’s laboratory investigating the synaptic basis of epileptogenesis.

You will be responsible for electrophysiological experiments in vivo and in vitro using a variety of approaches. 

You will hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and have excellent neurosurgical skills and extensive experience of molecular biological and immunohistochemical techniques. You will also have experience of local field potential recording and brain slice preparation.
