The Marketing and Communications Team has been shaped to stay ahead of the competitive marketplace and to ensure that Aston’s distinctive brand positioning is communicated clearly to all stakeholders. 

We employ a talented pool of ambitious and motivated academic and professional staff and are looking for an equally skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team. 

The postholder will support marketing campaigns across a number of audiences, with specific focus on the marketing of Degree Apprenticeships; developing and implementing marketing plans to support employer and apprentice recruitment targets.

Degree apprenticeships are a relatively new pathway for Higher Education providers to explore and Aston University is a leading provider being the first university with degree apprenticeship graduates

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level or equivalent standard with experience of working in a similar marketing role.  They will have experience of delivering high quality, innovative marketing solutions and developing marketing collateral for campaigns and events. 

A confident communicator, the postholder should have a high degree of organisational ability, be able to work effectively and flexibly on a range of projects and, to tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines. Knowledge of degree apprenticeships from an employer and apprentice perspective would be an advantage.

Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role.
