Aston University is seeking a motivated Market Analyst to join its Market Research Office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to progress their data/market analysis career in an established higher education institution known for its world class teaching and strong links to industry.

Reporting to the Senior Market Analyst, you will work closely with the Student Recruitment and Admissions teams in providing market intelligence to help inform University strategic planning and decision making in the area of student recruitment and admissions.  You will be responsible for data analysis relating to UK and international markets to aid student recruitment at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject and relevant experience of collection, analysis and interpretation of data, including experience of working with large data sets and the ability to transform data into insights.   You will have excellent IT, analytical, report writing and communication skills.

Although based on the Aston University campus in Central Birmingham, the University’s supports dynamic working practices, working in the location that best suits the task at hand, whether that be working remotely from home, or on  campus.
