An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Careers and Placements as an Employer Engagement Executive. Reporting to the Employer Engagement Manager (Placements), the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing opportunities for Aston University student and graduates with a particular focus on supporting Placements.  

You will offer a consultative approach to businesses, account managing relationships with local and regional employers and supporting their recruitment activity with a particular focus on generating placement opportunities. You will work closely in collaboration with Placement Student Support Team to achieve a balance between supply and demand. 

Educated to A level or equivalent experience, applicants must have good relationship and customer service skills, with previous experience of delivering high impact recruitment, B2B relationship management and/or business development activities.  

Good IT skills are also essential as are strong verbal and written communication skills.
