An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a busy team in the heart of Birmingham.

Aston University is looking to recruit an Employer Engagement Coordinator within its centralised Careers+Placements department. Your contribution to Aston’s mission will be to support the Careers+Placements Team’s strategic key performance indicators with a particular focus on Business Development and Employer Engagement. 

  • 100% placements by 2023. 
  • 80% of graduates in graduate level destinations 15 months after graduation.
  • Offering an exceptional experience to Aston’s students, graduates and employers.

Responsible for generating opportunities for current students and graduates, you will offer a first-class service for employers wishing to access Aston University’s talent. This particular role will be instrumental in working towards the 100% placements by 2023.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with previous experience of delivering excellent customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders. In addition, a keen eye for detail and ability to be flexible and adapt to change is pivotal. 

We are a diverse and friendly team that is focused on delivering a professional service to all key stakeholders of the University. The ability to work collaboratively across other teams and cultivate good relationships is essential to the role.
