Aston University Law School (part of The Guardian University of the Year 2021) is seeking a law lecturer/tutor to work on a part-time, fixed term basis. The work will be with an established team with existing materials.

It will cover the delivery of LLB Law of Tort materials to undergraduate years 1 and 2 from 25 October 2021 to 4 February 2022. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a University Law School, ideally working on a tort law (or obligations) module, with a demonstrated commitment to student-centred learning.

The role will involve:

  • Delivery of 4 seminars per week to c.40 students per seminar.
  • Marking of associated formative and summative assessments.
  • Managing student requests for support and assistance in relation to their tort law studies
