Quality Officer - Partnerships

Full Time, 37 hours per week 

To support the work of the Quality Office and the University as a whole and in particular the work of the Collaborative Provision Unit in respect to franchise and validation work. Duties will include validation processes, managing the established quality systems and servicing of a major committee.

Main responsibilities: 

  • To act as the Quality Officer in supporting the Collaborative Provision Unit, and specifically franchise and validation provision, which includes:
  • To be responsible for communication with partners with respect to University programme development, being proactive in obtaining information from academic departments
  • To oversee that partners are complying with University Regulations
  • To provide efficient administrative support to the operation of the Collaborative Provision Unit, including the servicing of meetings
  • To be responsible for the accurate and timely invoicing of UK and International Partners, in liaison with the University’s Finance Department
  • To undertake travel to partners as part of the audit work covering student ID and attendance checks
  • Responsible for managing and keeping updated the module Data sets and ensure that the relevant information held by the Quality and Secretariat Division for the Key Information Sets is kept up to date for franchise and validation provision
  • Responsible for monitoring records of validation and review events and in the implementation and tracking of action points
  • To maintain an awareness of developments in academic quality related to partnership work and enhancement in the sector and participate in continuing professional development in accordance with the University’s arrangements for CPD
