Role Description
About the Role
Cranfield Apprenticeships are a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate level degree apprenticeships which form a significant and growing part of the taught educational opportunities offered by Cranfield University. Developed in response to the “Apprenticeship Levy” and an increasingly changing environment for alternatives to traditional university education this is a fast moving, responsive and dynamic area. With over 1000 apprentices on programme at any one time across 15 different apprenticeship standards, this is a new and challenging role to support the quality assurance processes aligned to the apprenticeship provision and governance requirements.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who has substantial experience of working within the apprenticeships environment to join an established QA&E team. Working closely with the Apprenticeships Office, you will help to further embed policy and practice in line with Ofsted and ESFA requirements’.
About You
You will have sound knowledge of ESFA and Ofsted requirements and preferably experience of inspection and audit visits. You will be familiar with degree level apprenticeships. Experience of quality assurance processes within a Higher Education environment would be useful as we align the quality cycle of apprenticeships with that of MSc/BA/BSc accredited courses. You will support Cranfield in the further expansion of apprenticeship portfolios and work alongside experts in the fields of leadership, management, technology and engineering.
You will have excellent communication skills, be able to think strategically, and work collegiately and collaboratively to achieve a positive outcome.
