An opportunity has arisen to be part of a growing Psychology department at Solent, at an exciting time of development. Your role as a demonstrator will play an important part in the student experience and delivery of Psychology.
Psychology at Solent has a number of UG and PG courses with dedicated psychology spaces.
As a demonstrator in psychology you will support technical and programming support for experimentation using BioPac, eyetracking and virtual technologies. You role will include contributing to the sustained excellence of a student learning experience in psychology. support for lecturing staff by helping with the delivery of seminars, demonstrating in laboratory classes and on occasion and in collaboration with appropriate members of the academic staff undertake marking of assignments.
The successful candidate will need excellent communication and organisational skills and must be able to use their own initiative and will be required to work independently as well as part of a team. You must be a self starter and able to build working relationships with colleagues from schools and other professional services.
