Project Manager (IT Implementation)

Location: Based at Coventry Head Office with an opportunity for some flexible working

The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Project Management Office (PMO) to support the effective delivery of strategic projects. In the first instance, working on the implementation of a new student record system, liaising with and providing guidance and support to both business and IT colleagues alike. Diverse people skills, enthusiasm to drive change and adaptability to work in a constantly changing environment is a must for this role.

About You: You will be a passionate, hands-on project professional with significant experience in the delivery of an enterprise-wide implementation involving applications, data and digital technologies. A track record of delivering large-scale complex projects successfully is essential together with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to enable you to support the business develop the Target Operating Model and delivery in a range of areas as well as transitioning complex systems into business as usual.

As an individual you must be able to multi-task with a positive and pragmatic approach to getting the job done. You will be highly effective at building relationships to actively manage the engagement with Senior Leaders and business stakeholders across the organisation, as well as managing relationships with external providers.

Experience of working in the Higher Education sector on a student record system implementation would be advantageous but not essential.
