About the role:

As IT Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering designated IT projects on schedule/within budget, to agreed quality standards. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering technical change projects across all aspects of IT for the University. You'll be involved in the full project management lifecycle, from gathering requirements, through to delivering the expected outcomes and ensuring that budget, scope and timelines are adhered to.

This is a full time, fixed term post for 2 years. 

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and solutions-oriented IT Project Manager to work on a range of projects across all aspects of IT including desktop, asset management, networks, Wi-Fi, server, storage, security and critical business systems.

You have the ability to ensure that teams are operating within a robust framework that allows them to manage change and projects effectively and respond to challenges that arise in such a fast-moving environment.

We’re ideally looking for someone with:

  • Experience of applying appropriate project management approaches e.g. waterfall, Agile, blended, to a variety of technological projects to deliver projects to time, budget and scope
  • Experience of digital product development projects
  • Experience of creating and maintaining project documentation
  • Experience of strong stakeholder management and communications
  • Experience of successfully managing projects through their transition to BAU.
