This new part-time (0.8 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis to 30th  January 2027. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

In this post you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running and delivery of RENEW, a new Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) funded programme on renewing biodiversity through a people-in-nature approach. RENEW is run in collaboration with the National Trust and seeks to develop solutions to one of the major environmental challenges for humankind, the renewal of biodiversity.

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance for RENEW, playing an integral role within the Secretariat team that includes a project manager, partnership officer, a communications officer, and impact officer and other administrators. This team works closely to support the leadership team and the wider researchers working across seven different workstreams within RENEW. You will carry out administrative functions, help oversee project finances, organise meetings, events, maintain relationships with stakeholders, help to facilitate impact, internal and external communications, and data management.
