MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK
The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology has a tradition of solving fundamental questions in molecular biology, often requiring sustained research effort over many decades. We now invite applications for a new Programme Leader Track position in the Division of Structural Studies. We are interested in applicants with a research programme in the area of molecular and/or cellular structural biology, and who seek to tackle long-term problems that will have a transformative impact on our understanding of fundamental biological processes. The research programme should be suitably ambitious and challenging to take full advantage of the outstanding and stable research environment at the MRC-LMB.
The MRC-LMB is one of the birthplaces of molecular and structural biology and offers exceptional research facilities, including electron microscopy, crystallography and NMR, as well as mass spectrometry, light microscopy and biophysics, supported by electronic and mechanical workshops.
