The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences are seeking to recruit a Programme Administrator to join the team at Harcourt Hill, Botley. This is a full time position, for 11 months until November 2022.

 Qualifications required for post:

  • A-levels or equivalent experience

Experience required for post:

  • Significant demonstrable administrative experience; minute taking experience; good IT skills and an understanding of centralised database management systems; ability to work on own initiative; team-working experience; problem-solving skills; flexible approach to working; excellent communication skills.

We are particularly looking for someone with a very good level of IT skills (specifically in using spreadsheets to manipulate and present data); experience of and an ability to work effectively using their own initiative, with excellent communication and team working skills and experience of successfully working to deadlines under pressure.

This role will operate within a hybrid working structure, allowing the role holder to work from home and on campus in a pattern that meets operational needs but also supports work/life balance.

Overall purpose of post: To work as part of the Academic Administration Team to provide comprehensive administrative support to the assigned programme portfolio, including Oxford Brookes, collaborative awards and workforce development.
