Join an enthusiastic and innovative team working to support and enhance academic administration in the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment.

The Faculty is home to four Schools providing specialist and interdisciplinary teaching, research and knowledge transfer across a breadth of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes spanning a wide range of disciplines including but not limited to: architecture, arts, digital media, engineering and computing.

This is a full time, permanent post.

As Programme Administrator you will:

  • Be a first point of contact for answering queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Be providing general administrative support to the Faculty's taught programme administration team, including assisting with student recruitment, interviews and induction, programme documentation, production of transcripts
  • Utilise University systems to maintain student, enquirer and programme information
  • Assist with the preparation and support for formal committee meetings, annual reviews and other associated meetings
  • Support field trip administration including arranging travel and accommodation, and organising payment of fees
  • Assist the Programme Portfolio Manager and other team members with ad hoc projects in the taught programme administration area.

You should have:

  • A-levels (or equivalent qualification) or equivalent experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrable IT skills with the ability to use software packages appropriate to an office environment.
