Our department

Strathclyde Institute for Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS) is an internationally leading research and teaching institute with a focus on delivering the best future health care for patients through our strapline; New Medicines, Better Medicines and Better use of Medicines.  We are an exciting and forward thinking place in which to work, bold but collegiate, ambitious but friendly.  We want to be better at what we do and deliver, and are looking for dynamic senior academics to contribute to SIPBS outputs at a number of levels including; high quality research, growing external reputation and influence, industry facing activity and innovative teaching and learning.  The successful candidate will also engage in developing our future strategy.    We are looking for appointments in:

•         Pharmaceutical Manufacture and medicines optimization

•         Disease identification, drug discovery and targeting

•         Immuno-biology and Biopharmaceuticals
