External Engagement and Global (EEG)

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis

Summary of the role

This new role is a fantastic opportunity to join the University of Exeter at a time when our new faculties and structures are evolving to achieve our Strategy 2030. In this role you will work as strategic lead for the relationship between the EEG Division and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences providing timely intelligence, support and engagement to inform all areas of business strategy related to the EEG portfolio. The role will have a particular focus on international market growth, including student number planning, portfolio development and associated pricing strategies, identifying market diversification opportunities, market segmentation and targeting strategies, reputation and branding strategies, and marketing and recruitment tactics. The role will also consider fundraising and alumni work within the faculties and identify opportunities for engagement, diversification through widening access, and internal communication.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have recent significant experience in a leadership role in or marketing, communication, market insight/research or relationship management. You will have experience of creating impactful strategies and of monitoring and evaluating activity to drive optimum return on investment. You must also evidence experience of broad cross functional and collaborative working in a large organization and proven team leadership and management.
