Oxford Brookes University values the benefits of accurate data and easy analysis of it.  So have dedicated teams that will increase the range of reports and dashboards available to users and data analysts.  We are now looking for a Product Administrator for the Business Intelligence, reporting and data warehouse.  Reporting to the Head of Internal Reporting the role will manage the pipeline of work, liaising with business users to capture and prioritise requirements as well as other administrative functions.

This post is a full time 3 year fixed term contract.  The team working arrangements are hybrid – normally working in the office 1 day a week at our Headington Campus, but might require additional ad-hoc days for user meetings.

As the Product Administrator you will:

  • Manage the product backlogs and liaise with the Team leaders about content and size of sprints using an Agile methodology.
  • Gather user requirements as backlog items, with user stories and expected results.
  • Coordinate between the development teams and principle users.
  • Ensure developments meet the requirements.
  • Hand over developments to Key users (with training if appropriate).
  • Communicate releases and expected deliveries with the business users.
  • Manage contracts with suppliers.

You should have:

  • Evidence of effective Business Analysis and requirements gathering from non-technical users and end-users.
  • Extensive experience in data analysis, modelling and forecasting and creating tools and systems to aid in these processes.
  • Experience of managing of managing Agile sprints.
  • Experience of SDLC tools including source control (ideally BitBucket).

We are looking for someone to enhance and maintain our development delivery and that person may have worked in similar roles such as

  • Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Development Manager
  • Scrum Master
  • Product Manager
