Three full-time posts are available immediately on a permanent basis in Finance Services. The role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

The Procurement Operations department are looking to appoint three hard-working, self-starting individuals, with strong communication skills and a background in customer service, to their team based across campuses in both Exeter and Penryn. The roles will be critical in supporting the day-to-day procurement at one of the top UK universities, providing clear and transparent advice and guidance to all colleges of the University and external stakeholders, ensuring cost effective, sustainable and compliant procurement occurs. Work within the team is varied, providing great opportunities for the successful candidates to learn new skills and develop in their role

About you

This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with people. You will need strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable explaining technical processes in a simplistic and professional manner. You will need good problems solving skills and an eye for detail, spotting potential compliance issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with MS Office programmes, and be comfortable providing reports, having analysed data to spot patterns and trends. The role is varied, so being adaptable and working closely with others in the team will be essential.
