We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Developer to lead the development and enhancement of our software applications and services. The right person will lead the team and have the ability to develop code themselves whilst mentoring their team, ensuring adherence to industry best practice. This role is pivotal in driving technological innovation and ensuring our systems meet the evolving needs of our users across the university. You must have a very strong technical background with expertise in modern software technologies and methodologies.  Strong problem-solving skills alongside a proactive approach are required together with LJMU offering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
