An exciting opportunity for a Principal Learning Technologist has arisen in the Digital Learning team. Our team supports the enhancement of academic teaching and learning practice with the use of digital technologies across all academic departments in the University.

As a Principal Learning technologist, you will make a significant contribution to the University's enhancement of teaching and learning through a leadership role, helping steer the direction of digital learning across the University. You will also play a key role in contributing to cross-University projects relating to digital learning.

Your role will also involve working closely with a number of departments to help meet their strategic digital learning needs, such as coordinating and delivering academic staff development in the department, supporting the development of new courses, and helping achieve other related strategic departmental priorities.

You should have expertise in digital learning and teaching approaches and be confident with a range of digital technologies. You will be a strong communicator, able to build good working relationships across the University which span academic and professional service communities of practice.

You may be an academic with experience of leadership in learning technology or an experienced learning technologist, looking to build on your experience and progress your career.
