This is an exciting opportunity to join the Biochemical Sciences department within Viapath Analytics, based at St Thomas' Hospital. Biochemical Sciences is comprised of Inherited Metabolic Disease laboratory, the Purine Research Laboratory, the South East Thames Newborn Screening Service and Reference Chemistry laboratories.
The Reference Chemistry laboratory includes Endocrine, Immunochemistry (proteins), stone analysis (FT-IR) and Anti-TNF therapeutic drug monitoring service. The Anti-TNF drug monitoring service is the first of its kind in the UK.

Working primarily in Reference Chemistry the post holder, together with other laboratory colleagues, will be responsible for the development and delivery of a broad range of complex, specialised diagnostic procedures including the provision of clinical advice, collaborative research and service development in particular personalised medicine service. The job holder has a degree of individual responsibility and should be HCPC registered. Comprehensive knowledge and experience of specialised Biochemistry tests is a prerequisite.
