INTO is an organisation working in partnership with leading British universities and investing in the development of world-class international student centres. It specialises in preparing students for undergraduate and postgraduate study in the UK. Our Centres deliver progression onto leading British undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Each INTO Centre is managed by a joint venture management board in which INTO and the partner University are equal shareholders. INTO works in partnership with the University of Exeter, part of the prestigious Russell Group, to deliver one of the largest Pre-sessional programmes in the UK.


We are looking for highly motivated EAP professionals to join us on a full-time basis to work on our 10 and 6 week Pre-sessional English courses. A full induction and set of in-house teaching materials are provided for each of the courses.


We will be offering both on campus and online modes of delivery for both 10 week and 6 week courses.

Job Salary and Benefits

- 10-week course: 3 day induction from 8th June – 10th June. Course runs from 13th June - 19th August. Approximate total payment including holiday and induction: £7,468.

- 6-week course: 3 day induction starts 6th July – 8th July. Course runs from 11th July to 19th August. Approximate total payment including holiday and induction: £4,629.

Accommodation

A generous subsidy will be provided to teachers requiring paid accommodation in Exeter for the duration of the contract, and assistance can be provided with finding accommodation on request.

Requirements

Ideally you will have a Master’s degree in a relevant area (e.g. TESOL, Applied Linguistics) AND/OR a DELTA or equivalent teaching qualification. Candidates with a CELTA (or equivalent) and relevant teaching experience may also be considered. You will need to be an exceptional teacher, able to provide academic and pastoral support to students, and preferably have experience of having taught and assessed English for Academic Purposes previously, ideally on a Pre-sessional programme.

Experience of online teaching is essential. We will be using Microsoft Teams to deliver components of both the online and on campus courses, so experience using this platform to teach would be desirable.

Whether you are teaching online or on campus, you must be UK based for the duration of the programme and have the right to work in the UK.
