Postdoctoral Scientist

About the role:

Dr Evangelos Giampazolias is currently looking for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join his Cancer Immunosurveillance Group. The aim of this post is to address the mechanisms that enable the immune system to sense commensal microbes and understand how it integrates such cues to elicit systemic immunity against cancer.

About you:

You should have a PhD in Immunology and/or Cancer Biology or related field. A background in immunology and/or working with cancer models in vivo is required as is a working knowledge of the essentials of biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology. Experience with immune profiling of mucosal and/or tumour tissue and knowledge in microbiota analysis would be an advantage.
