Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist position in the group of Dr Sean Munro at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) on a programme aimed at investigating the organisation of the Golgi apparatus. Specifically, to undertake research to investigate the mechanism of vesicle traffic within the mammalian Golgi apparatus using either advanced light microscopy or biochemical reconstitution. 


Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant subject and experience of molecular biology methods, along with advanced light or electron microscopy, or protein biochemistry would be particularly useful.

The successful applicant will be awarded a 3-year Career Development Fellowship/ Postdoctoral Training Scheme position. This is a training and development position for a Postdoctoral Scientist who has recently completed their doctoral studies, is moving into a new research discipline or has limited experience of key transferable skills. The MRC LMB has excellent scientific core facilities and training opportunities.
