An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant to join our busy HR Team in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences; a world-class, growing research department, within a complex and dynamic organisation. The HR role is an integral part of the department, and you will be part of a small HR team, supporting the delivery of an efficient and professional HR Service.

This new post is an excellent development opportunity to progress in the field of Human Resources. You will develop practical HR administration skills within many aspects the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to end of employment.

You will be a key point of contact on various HR administrative matters, and you will provide outstanding administrative support to the Department’s HR Team (currently comprising the HR Officer, Deputy HR Manager and HR Manager). You will have full in-house training and professional development opportunities.

You will need excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels; well-developed IT and administration skills; accuracy and a high level of attention to detail; the ability to manage your own workload and work effectively as part of a team or independently. Previous experience of working in an HR-related role is essential.

This post is full-time, permanent and will be based at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG. The department is committed to continuing professional development and attendance at relevant courses and training is encouraged.
