About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Oncology as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Professor Nicholas La Thangue’s Laboratory of Cancer Biology.

You will play an important role in the ongoing basic research project that aims to understand the cancer biology of the E2F family and the role in immune recognition and will undertake state-of-the-art molecular, cell biological and biochemical techniques in order to explore the pathways regulating E2F activity with a focus on developing novel cancer vaccines.

About you

You will hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or be close to completion), ideally cancer biology research, have relevant experience in biological, biochemical and molecular biology research, preferably in gene expression and protein biochemistry.

Have experience in RNA biology and techniques for studying protein function including mass spectrometry and proteomics. You will have high attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate and ordered experimental data as well as computer literacy with knowledge and experience of databases.
