Applicants are invited to apply for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Economics in the Department of Economics,  to work with Alex Teytelboym. Applicants must have a relevant PhD and the experience to develop and manage research projects as part of the overall research agenda in the ERC grant. The post is available from winter 2023 and will be full time for the duration of two years (with a possible extension to 3 years).

The post-holder will be a member of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research as part of the ERC research project “Duality in Market Design: Theory and Applications”. The post holder may also provide guidance to junior members of the research group including research assistants, PhD students and project volunteers.

You will hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD in a relevant discipline together with experience of doing research on auction theory, matching markets, market and mechanism design, and/or algorithmic game theory. You will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work with established research programme. You will also have the ability to manage your own research tasks and work with some independence on assigned work.

This is a three-year, fixed-term contract (externally-funded) post. The closing date for applications is 12 noon (UK time) on 2 December 2022.
