Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Nanopore Biochemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Yujia Qing for a period of up to 24 months.  The project involves developing nanopore sensing technologies for functional biomolecules and is funded by ERC.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Biology or a relevant subject area, (or be close to completion) prior to taking up your appointment.  The research requires experience in protein engineering and biocatalysis.  You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.

The post will be based in the Department of Chemistry, Chemistry Research Laboratory, 12 Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX1 3TA and is available as soon as possible.
