Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Electrochemistry/Diagnostics to work under the supervision of Professor Jason Davis on a research project funded by Oxford Impedance Diagnostics for a fixed-term period of 12 months. The project involves the development and utilisation of advanced electroanalytical and surface chemical methods in establishing potent multimarker diagnostic assays.

You should have a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area, or have submitted your thesis prior to taking up your appointment. You should be familiar with surface chemical and spectroscopic methods and have a strong background in electroanalysis, including impedance/capacitance. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities, to supervise other team activities where asked and to coordinate work to meet specified deadlines.

The post will be based in the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Department, South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3QZ and is available immediately.
