A Horizon Europe funded Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) position is available at the Department of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine and the Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science (LCCS). You will join an ambitious EU-wide collaboration (ARISTOTELES - Applying artificial intelligence to define clinical trajectories for personalized prediction and early detection of comorbidity and multimorbidity patterns) developing translatable computational tools to assess multi-morbidity in atrial fibrillation patients. You will join Dr El-Bouri¿s group working on the development of digital healthcare twins and in silico clinical trial pipelines. This is a unique opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative environment at the interface of computational healthcare, digital twins, and clinical translation. Digital twins in healthcare are a rapidly growing field hence you will also have significant scope to develop your own research ideas within the LCCS over the duration of the position. You will also be given the opportunity to contribute to teaching and engage with career development opportunities.  The post is available for 30 months with an expected start date of June 2024.

Any applicants who are still awaiting their PhD to be awarded should be aware that if successful, they will be appointed at grade 6, spine point 30.  Upon written confirmation that they have been successful in being awarded their PhD, they will be moved onto grade 7, spine point 31 from the date of their award.
