The aim of the project is to characterize one or more kinetoplastid kinetochore proteins in Trypanosoma brucei using a variety of techniques including cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, and/or structural biology.

Applicants should possess a PhD/DPhil, or be near completion of a PhD/DPhil in a relevant subject and must have proven expertise in protein biochemistry, cell biology, biophysics, or structural biology.
