We are seeking applications for a 12-month postdoctoral or senior postdoctoral research scientist position in the field of computational chemistry with a focus on the use of Computer Aided Drug Discovery (CADD) techniques for the discovery of biologically active molecules. The successful applicant will be joining the research group of Prof John Stephens where commercially sensitive project work to date has centred on small molecule modulators of inflammation. The position has been funded by Enterprise Ireland and is part of an interdisciplinary commercial facing project, with a goal of establishing a spin out company within 12-18 months.
Post-Doctoral Researcher (2023) Salary Scale: €42,783 - €49,117 p.a. (6 points)
Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher (2023) Salary Scale: €50,540 - €54,965 p.a. (4 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
