Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Institute of China Economy (ICE) of the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 518795) (to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Economics, or a related discipline.  They should demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate effectively in Chinese and English for both writing and oral presentations.  Preference will be given to those with prior research experience and a track record of publications in macroeconomics or related fields.

The appointee will work closely with the Principal Investigators to conduct research under their supervision in a predominantly independent manner, and pursue investigations on China’s macroeconomy and other related research studies.  He/She may also be required to perform research administrative duties as assigned.
