Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (several posts) (Ref.: 524506), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biological science, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics or related disciplines. They should be self-driven, highly motivated, creative with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Expertise and knowledge in bioinformatics and data analysis (e.g. Linux, R programming) is essential, and additional experiences in cell culture and animal experiments would be highly desirable. 

The appointees will participate in research projects related to bone and soft tissue tumours. They will handle clinical samples (e.g. FFPE tissue, blood) and perform multi-omics and circulating tumour (ctDNA) analysis on various sarcomas.
