Queen Mary University of London are recruiting a Planning Analyst (Student Number Planning and Returns) to join the Student Number Planning and Returns team within the Strategic Planning Office. The Planning Analyst (Student Number Planning and Returns) will focus on supporting the compilation of external data returns in addition to the annual student number planning process.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain advanced level experience in the areas of external returns, data and information improvement within an office that uses cutting edge data and analytics technology.
The successful candidate will report directly to a Senior Planning Analyst and will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of planning professionals specialising in a diverse range of activities including but not limited to strategic planning, risk management, data and analytics, external returns, student number planning and research reporting.
We are looking for someone who has;
- experience of working in the area of data and analytics
- experience of extracting data from relational database systems
- skills in data preparation technologies such as Alteryx, KNIME, Excel, SQL, programming or similar

The position is a full-time, 6-month contract. Starting salary will be in the grade 4 range £34,220 to £40,194 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
