CU Coventry’s new state-of-the-art campus is located in the heart of the city and is designed to enhance our innovative education model and provide students with a cutting-edge teaching and learning environment.  Students from the Faculty of Health and Social Care are required to carry out a placement as part of their BA degree courses. These include: BA Early Childhood Learning and Development; BA Public Health and Community Studies; BA Health & Wellbeing Practice and BA Counselling – Integrative theory and practice. 

This post will take a lead role in the brokerage and administration of placements for students at CU Coventry. You will provide advice and support to students and employers before, during and after placements. To enable such provision, you will be responsible for growing new opportunities with employers in the local and regional area, using your excellent networking skills, to develop a placement portfolio. This post will monitor the suitability of placements, ensuring employers are aware of their responsibilities to the student and CU Coventry’s responsibilities to the employer. The post will facilitate placements for CU Coventry students, ensuring that necessary health and safety documentation and risk assessments are completed and evaluate service provision and work innovatively to enhance the student experience.
