Summary of the role

The opportunity exists for a talented individual to join the Operations team within Global Advancement.

The main purpose of the role of Philanthropic Gifts and Fund Manager is to support the University’s endeavours in raising philanthropic funds by managing the receipt and spend of philanthropic donations. The Philanthropic Gifts and Fund Manager will ensure that donors are able to make gifts efficiently, that they can take advantage of tax-effective giving vehicles and that philanthropic funds are spent as donors intended.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced professional, who will be educated to Degree level (or equivalent), have an accounting qualification (or equivalent experience) and have relevant work experience in the management of donation income. You will have excellent communication and IT skills to include MS Office applications and databases and a meticulous attention to detail. The ability to work well as part of a team is also essential.
