Role Description

We welcome applications from motivated and committed individuals to join the Research Governance Team at Cranfield to support compliance and contribute to a positive student experience.

About the Role

The PGR Support Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance for all UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funded studentship delivery and reporting and will support the development and delivery of best practice PhD student support processes.

About You

Applicants should be educated to A level standard or have the equivalent level of work experience. Experience of working in a Higher Education environment with a good level of IT literacy and a solid understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations is essential as well as a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise workload is essential.

The Research and Innovation Office (RIO) facilitates high-quality academic research through leading the development of research strategy and policy, ensuring compliance with research governance requirements, supporting researchers to access funding and form new collaborations, engaging with the development of research information systems and advising on the contracting process.  It also oversees key strategic research partnerships with both public and private sector corporate clients to maximise their effectiveness and works with a range of stakeholders to identify and bring to fruition new research opportunities. Working with other professional services, it works to improve and enhance the research student experience.
