Salary: Grade 7 from £39,607 to £46,771 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £50,858 per annum inclusive of London Weighting through sustained exceptional contribution.

The College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences is seeking to appoint a PGR Programmes Manager, with responsibility for the Departments of Health and Life Sciences.  

Managing a team of two administrators, and working alongside the College’s PGR Directors, Deputy Dean Academic Affairs, and Associate Director (Education Operations), the PGR Programmes Manager role includes, amongst other tasks:

  • Ensuring effective management of all College research student facing administration functions on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensuring procedures are implemented consistently across the College
  • Ensuring and providing high level administrative support to the College senior team regarding all PGR related matters.
  • Acting as the focus point for Postgraduate researchers and their supervisors.
  • Ensuring committees are properly managed and supported.

The PGR Programmes Manager will report to the College’s Associate Director (Education Operations) and will regularly work with them on the development of College protocols and other initiatives.
