PDRA – Entomological Capacity Development

The successful candidate will be involved in development of capacity strengthening tools, implementation of the tools and their evaluation.

Key to the success of the role will be your ability to deliver across the following areas:

  • Development of capacity strengthening tools - Work with partners to determine content and best mode of delivery
  • Lead and coordinate the development of the tools; Assist in the initial delivery of the tools in India
  • Research - Lead on the development of appropriate evaluation of the tools / capacity strengthening; Oversee ethics in UK and India for this work; Lead on a historical analysis of entomological surveillance in India
  • Support - Support the implementation of integrated entomological surveillance and partner institutes in developing capacity for delivery of the training

We are seeking candidates that can demonstrate:

  • PhD – entomology or equivalent
  • Capacity strengthening and the development of capacity strengthening / teaching
  • Delivery of teaching / capacity strengthening
  • Knowledge and behaviours that support equality, diversity and inclusive practice
  • Please note - this position will include travel to India
