This is an exciting opportunity in a busy team within the Registry. The Partnership Student Information Adviser role is a new and interesting one, has a wide range of tasks and interacts with academic and professional services staff across the University, and with students. The role supports the management of the University's curriculum and student information for partnership programmes within the student record system, and will work with colleagues within our academic faculties regarding processes relating to the management of student data, and the management of new and existing courses.

You will be:

  • Using the University’s student records system to manage partnership curriculum and student information
  • Working with colleagues in quality assurance roles on processes relating to the modifications to courses and the approval of new courses
  • Providing training to students and staff on the University’s self-service functionality
  • Deliver specialist information, advice and guidance services to staff and students on matters relating to student information and linked processes and initiatives from enrolment through to final award
  • Play a key role in University examination committee processes at multiple points in the academic year.

You should have:

  • A degree or relevant experience and excellent written English
  • Familiarity with Higher Education
  • An understanding of, and experience in, the provision of information, advice and guidance services and of using complex database management systems e.g. a student records system
  • The ability to work on own initiative, under pressure and prioritise tasks, meet regular deadlines and solve complex problems
  • An understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer service, of data quality and integrity
  • Experience of training.

This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points-based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don’t currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a visa via another route.
