The Role

As a part time hourly paid lecturer you will assist in fostering a rich learning environment for our trainees on the Initial Teacher Training programmes in line with the Initial teacher education (ITE) inspection framework and handbook.  You will be committed to excellence, offering the very highest standards in teaching and support for ITE trainees. You will also be expected to be contribute towards carrying out teaching observations, both on and off-site, as required. Additionally, you will need to support the work of a highly qualified team to ensure that trainee progress is evidenced and reported through Accreditation Panels and monitoring meetings with validating partners. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who possesses a recognised teaching qualification, has experience of teaching in a further / higher education environment and a strong awareness of current developments within your subject discipline and, preferably in ITE.

With excellent interpersonal skills, you'll have the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population, mentors and learning settings.
