Part-time Clinical Study Data Coordinator

We are seeking a part-time Clinical Study Data Co-ordinator for the Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis Versus Arthritis, based at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology. You will join an interdisciplinary team of scientists and clinician researchers studying the pathogenesis of osteoarthritis (OA), and will be responsible primarily for data co-ordination in the STEpUP OA study.

The Synovial fluid To define molecular Endotypes by Unbiased Proteomics in OA (or STEp-UP OA) consortium was established to discover whether protein concentrations in synovial fluid can be used to stratify osteoarthritis patients, to discover predictors of disease severity or future disease development, and to understand the biological role that synovial proteins play in disease pathogenesis. You will be responsible for supporting the consortium Working groups and for data management across 6 academic institutions in UK, Sweden, Canada, and the Netherlands.

You will be educated to at least A-Level standard (or equivalent administrative qualifications/experience) with proven knowledge and experience of data management and monitoring activities. You will also have strong IT literacy and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. Previous data management experience within a clinical research study or within a registered clinical trials unit, including data collection, cleaning and raising/resolving data queries is desirable, as is familiarity with REDCAp or similar clinical study databases.

This is a 50% FTE position for 18 months.
