Outreach Officer - Outreach

Job Purpose

Outreach Officer is responsible for coordination and execution of university's outreach plan and activities, implementing University's outreach strategies and assisting the Outreach Senior officer in preparing a wide range of written materials and presentations, to represent Khalifa University at local schools, institutions

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate and represent the University in different recruitment on and off campus events and  promote the University programs in order to attract new students.
• Contact local schools and arrange for presentations about Khalifa University and recruitment sessions in collaboration with other departments, as a way to reach and communicate with the targeted students for specific programs
• Work to broaden, expand and leverage relevant databases of prospective students through engagement in activities, exhibitions and visits. 
• Support the Outreach Senior Specialist in keeping relationships with UAE schools institutions and related agencies that participate in outreach initiatives 
• Support the Outreach activities during visits to schools, institutions and relevant agencies and assist in the organizing of workshops and presentations 
• Coordinate with the Marketing and Communication Department to ensure that all communication material and branding of outreach programs and events are updated and advertised for Coordinate and participate in the organizing of events and activities with the Marketing and Communication team
• Coordinate and arrange for events logistics in coordination with the Facilities Management and Procurement department
• Adhere to the University's information security and confidentiality policies and procedures, and report breaches or other security risks accordingly
• Coordinate with other departments to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities, as  and when needed
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager

Qualifications

Required Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Higher Education Administration, or related field.
• UAE Nationals: (0) Experience requirement with good potential to perform assigned duties. 
• Expats: A minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
