Operations Manager (Part time)

Updated: about 2 months ago
Location: Nottingham, SCOTLAND
Job Type: PartTime
Deadline: 28 Mar 2024

Are you able to manage a team of administrative and finance staff at the same time as running and interpreting month end finance reports?  Do you want to work for a supportive, hardworking and passionate organisation?

If so then the Ann Craft Trust want to hear from you!  The Ann Craft Trust is a national charity, based at the University of Nottingham, committed to safeguarding adults from the risk of abuse and neglect. We work with a diverse range of organisations, from those who work exclusively with disabled people to sports and activity organisations, the voluntary sector, charities and community groups, who want to make sure that activities they provide are safe for everyone to access.

You’ll need to demonstrate your experience as an office administrator or manager as well as your ability to oversee the finances and budgetary requirements of an ambitious charity where every penny counts towards making a difference to people.  This means you’ll not only need to be able to manipulate various IT systems, data and spreadsheets but also lead work to ensure their continuous development and improvement.  However, what will stand you apart from others will be your passion for making positive change, your values which will be aligned to ours and your empowering nature.

You’ll manage a small, knowledgeable and dedicated team who are integral to making the Ann Craft Trust a leading authority in safeguarding adults across the UK.  This means that you’ll need to show us your ability to manage effectively and compassionately.

In return, you’ll get great support from a friendly, innovative team, regular supervision and annual leave, pension and the flexible working benefits of being a University of Nottingham employee.

This post is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part time (22 hours).
