The Role
IReL seeks to appoint an Open Access Analyst to support IReL’s decision making on open access publishing agreements.
The successful candidate will benefit from Maynooth University and IReL’s culture of ongoing training and development, and close support from colleagues to allow them to expand their professional skills. The role will be based in Maynooth University, reporting to the IReL Manager.
Purpose:
- To monitor and report on relevant scholarly publishing statistics to inform strategic decision-making around IReL’s open access and transformative publishing agreements.
- To support and develop IReL’s portfolio of agreements with non-traditional OA service and infrastructure providers.
Administrative Officer II (2022) Salary Scale: €39,628 – €56,860p.a. (9 points)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
