The Liverpool Head and neck Centre, with funding from North West Cancer Research,  wish to appoint a 4-year Research Fellow (non-tenured) to further develop the discovery science focus of the Liverpool Head and neck Centre (LHNC).

The scientific focus of this post will be determined by the skills, expertise and scientific interest of the applicants, but should be within the general scientific areas as outlined below.

We wish to identify an individual with an appropriate track record, who will synergise with the existing expertise in LHNC (for clinical and translational benefit).

It is anticipated that this post will have a Tumour Microenvironment (TME) focus, which may include adaptive immuno-oncology/T-cell and/or fibroblast biology, to fit with existing strengths and discovery science needs

The successful candidate will be based in the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre within the Department of Molecular and Clinical Cancer Medicine.

The post holders should have a PhD in cell biology, molecular biology or biotechnology (or related discipline) and relevent post-doctoral experience.

The proposed starting date is 1 April 2024.
