The School

The Richard Wells Research Centre, based in the College of Nursing Midwifery and Healthcare at the University of West London, conducts an active programme of research focusing on improving patient safety in the field of infection prevention and control. The Centre conducts primary research, undertakes guideline development and review and, through its work as an internationally accredited centre for evidence-based practice, carries out comprehensive systematic reviews. 

The Role 

This is a fixed term appointment for 24 months.

The post holder will be required to work on a collaborative project to update national guidelines for the prevention of healthcare associated infection. Applicants must have experience of working as a researcher in a healthcare setting and experience in research synthesis and systematic review software.

The post requires candidates with enthusiasm, self-motivation, ability to manage their own workload and a willingness to work as part of team and commit to the University’s vision and values.
