We are currently expanding and seeking a passionate and dedicated Neurodiversity Mental Health Practice Lead. Come and be part of a professional, multidisciplinary team committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational experience for students.
Working alongside the Mental Wellbeing Management and other specialist Practice Leads, the new role of Neurodiversity Mental Health Practice Lead will specialise in neurodiversity with coocurring mental health difficulties whilst providing leadership and management to a new team of Autism Mental Health Advisers.
This role is a new and exciting opportunity to shape support for students and will include:
- Taking a lead role in the coordination and supervision of the day-to-day provision including the allocation of work, wait list management and prioritising access to the service ensuring full and adequate risk management.
- Leading on ensuring appropriate and timely specialist assessment and academically focused, practical support for students.
- Responding to emerging issues through action or referral as appropriate, involving extensive liaison with internal and external partners at times.
- Taking a lead role in the development of the Mental Wellbeing Team and all University based services aimed at facilitating progression for students
